Hunter did a great job keeping me informed every step of the way about the extensive plumbing job I just completed (replacing old metal pipes) but also on smaller jobs he has done for me. He also found the source of a leak in one of my bathrooms no one else could identify and when working in my basement alerted me to a leak in my heating ducts. He’s incredibly conscientious and professional and just an all around good guy. I can’t imagine using another plumber now.
Hunter did a great job appraising the job and effectively installing shower fixtures and a toilet in my new bathroom. He also diagnosed a leak in another bathroom sink no that others had failed to grasp.
Responsive, efficient and so pleasant to work with. I’ve been using Chen Plumbing since 1998 and have recommended them to many others. They have always worked out so well for me.

Just completed a garbage disposal installation for a customer in College Park. The previous unit had completely seized up after 8+ years of service. Customer opted for the InSinkErator Evolution Excel 1HP model with sound insulation. Removed the old unit, thoroughly cleaned the sink flange area, and installed the new mounting assembly with fresh plumber's putty. Connected to existing drain lines with minor modifications for proper alignment. Added a new dedicated GFCI outlet under the sink for safety compliance. Tested the unit thoroughly - running smoothly with no leaks or unusual vibration. Also tightened loose connections on the sink's faucet as a courtesy. Left the area clean and provided customer with operation instructions and maintenance tips. They were very pleased with the quieter operation of the new unit compared to their old one.
